Renovation (Walls / floor) : How do I paint my walls or change my floor type ?

In Gepetto, you can easily renovate a room and change the wall color using the re-style mode.

Unfortunately, re-style mode offers little control over the final wall color other than based on the selected style, especially if the original wall has a bright color.

In this case we can use the Floor / Walls tab, which lets you automatically change the walls color or manually select the surfaces to be modified and define their new color.

Change the walls color and floor type automatically

To change the color of walls or floors quickly, you can select the automatic mode:




You can then choose which type of surface to modify (walls or floor)

And which color or floor covering you'd like.

White
Off-white
Beige
Charcoal gray
Silver gray
Olive
Deep blue
Terracotta

Parquet
Marble
Tile
Carpet
Concrete

Change the walls color manually (floor not available)

It is advisable to finalize your mask by clicking on Custom mask to fill in the areas that were not automatically filled in the automatic selection by clicking on the walls. If the mask is imperfect, the results will be less consistent.
