If you simply want to refresh an exterior with existing elements, the Rénover mode may suffice, as shown in the video below:



On the other hand, if you want to add elements such as:

A lawn
A swimming pool
Flowers
Plant beds
Garden furniture

In this particular case, the Furnish (manual) mode will be more relevant, as the furnish mode allows you to add non-existent elements, as in the video below:
